This is a pristine, numbers matching S coupe and one of roughly 1,480 built by Porsche in 1970. This perfect example of an early 911s was purchased in 2004 by its current owner whose original thought was to have an early “S” as a driver just for fun. However, one thing led to another and in mid 2007, the car rolled out of one of the leading Porsche restoration shops on the east coast, having been carefully and expertly restored to arguably better than original condition.

Optional Factory Equipment at delivery:

Following the removal of the drive train, the rest of the car was completely disassembled, brought to bare metal, block sanded and properly refinished in its original tangerine color, using only the finest materials and paint. The result is a chassis with perfect paint, zero rust, and all new rubber seals and body gaskets done in absolutely stock trim.

While the chassis was being restored, all of the mechanicals needing attention were renewed or replaced by a well known “Porsche only” shop with deep experience in early 911’s. Additional parts were either rebuilt or ordered to complete the reassembly, once the chassis restoration was complete.  

No cosmetic or mechanical item was ignored or overlooked during the 2 year long restoration and all work is well documented by photographs and receipts.

The car will be sold with all of the above documentation, a full tool kit, original spare wheel and tire, Certificate of Authenticity, owners manual and a Porsche car cover.
